Glamping is all about the ‘experience’. It’s about immersing yourself in your surroundings, taking in the fresh air, feeling the earth under your feet and dissolving away your daily stresses. It’s getting back to nature without getting back to basics.
We have 10 luxury bell tents all discretely located amongst the trees. Each tent has its own private area with plenty of space to relax and take in your special woodland niche. Our canvas bell tents offer that pure, traditional and authentic camping experience.
Interior tent details
We offer 4m and 5m tents for up to 4 adults sharing. Inside the tents there are double wooden futon beds, and optional single mattresses (if required). We provide you with proper foam mattresses, not air beds, with clean mattress covers in place. Due to COVID-19 regulations we have minimized soft furnishing in the tents, so please bring along your own sleeping bags/duvets, sheets, pillows and towels.
Each tent has beds, carpet, throw, small table, lamp, torch, shoe box, festoon lights, bunting and a welcome mat.
Nearby, there are two all-weather, self-catering kitchens with plenty of space to dine and relax. We provide you with the use of a 2 burner gas hob, a kettle and a barbecue (bring your own charcoal) to add variety to your cooking options. However in the interests of hygiene, you will need to bring your own pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, cups, plates and bowls. There are plenty of drinking water points on the site and two outside washing-up stations with hot running water.
Toilets and Showers
During your stay you will have your own designated flushable toilet which will be regularly cleaned. There are 4 showers and 6 wash basins on site, housed in 2 large washrooms. In the interest of hygiene, these will only be open on two occasions (morning and evening) and there will be a booking system in place to allow for cleaning in-between use (Please refer to our coronavirus safety regulations for further details). Your health and safety is important to us.
Quiet at Night
We have a “quiet at night” policy. This means that there is no noise allowed after 11pm. This is so people get a peaceful night’s sleep and so the forest can continue its nocturnal life as normal. So at night all you should hear are the owls hooting and the leaves rustling.
Leave no trace
We have a recycling policy on site for food and recyclable waste.
